Types of Loans

10, 15, 20, and 30-Year Fixed-Rate Mortgage Loans

The traditional 10, 15, 20 or 30-year fixed-rate mortgages have constant interest rates and monthly payments for the length of the loan term. Typically the shorter the term, the lower the interest rate.  Shorter term notes have higher monthly mortgage payments and the loan is paid off within a shorter length of time.  Your loan officer will work with you to select the loan product that best fits your needs.

These types of loans include:

  • FHA
  • First Time Home Buyer
  • FHLB Down Payment Assistance
  • Rural Development
  • Construction/Permanent Financing

Adjustable Rate Mortgage Loans (ARMS)

With 1, 3, or 5-year options available, the rate is locked at that particular rate for the selected term (1, 3, or 5-years). Once that time passes, the rate re-prices and locks for another 1, 3, or 5-years.  Adjustable rate mortgages are attractive when the fixed-rate market does not meet your needs or in situations where the loan is short-term.
